Stacey’s Bushwalking Base

Make Stacey’s At The Gap your starting point for a trek to Mt Cordeaux and beyond. A bushwalking track which takes you from our front door, with a link to the Box Forest Walking Track which starts approximately 1.5km from us at the West Gap Creek Picnic Area, which is located just at our property’s eastern boundary at the edge of Main Range National Park. The Box Forest track then takes you all the way to the top of Cunninghams Gap where there are several more options to explore this wonderful part of the world. From Stacey’s At The Gap to The Crest Carpark at the top of Cunninghams Gap it is approximately 8km return trek.

Early check-in Saturday morning, trek from Stacey’s to the top of Cunninghams Gap and beyond, returning for dinner in the Lodge. Sit by the fire or curl up in bed in your cosy room. Hot breakfast Sunday morning in the Lodge, 10am checkout. Our venue provides an almost camping experience without the hassle of tents, sleeping bags and equipment. Our amenities are close by.
